  • How do I make an appointment?

  • What is the preferred treatment for insomnia?
    The first line of intervention for insomnia is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). CBT-I is widely considered the gold standard due to its evidence-based effectiveness in addressing the underlying causes of insomnia and improving sleep quality.
  • What will the first appointment look like?
    The intake session involves an evaluation to determine the nature and history of your sleep problem and associated features. Together, we will develop a tailored treatment plan and introduce the sleep diary at the end of the session. The sleep diary is a crucial tool that helps you track your sleep patterns and behaviors over time. By recording details you'll gain insights into your sleep habits, which will inform our personalized treatment plan and help identify factors affecting your sleep quality.
  • How many sessions will I need?
    While every person is different, the average length of time to complete this treatment will be 6-8 sessions.
  • Do you take insurance?
    At this time I am an in network provider with Aetna and Cigna insurance.
  • Who do you work with?
    I work with both teens and adults.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
